He focuses on leaders, teams, business partnership relationships and bringing the best out of individuals based on company and individual objectives. He combines his own extensive leadership experience with his coaching, training and organizational development to help leaders achieve professional and personal goals in alignment with company needs.
Floyd has experience working with a variety of job positions, functional areas, and industries. Specifically, he has coached executives holding the job titles of CFO, VP, Senior Director, General Manager and high-potentials at various levels. Using brain-based coaching techniques he helps his clients set motivating goals, strategies, and actions to ensure they put new insights, habits, and skills into practice. Floyd has broad expertise in designing and delivering high‐potential leadership development programs.
Business and Career Background
Floyd has more than 30 years of business and military experience as an accomplished Director-level leader with a broad, successful career tenure specializing in organizational Talent Acquisition & Development, Operations, Sales Enablement, and Information Technology management. He worked internationally for Cisco in Brussels, Belgium leading global technology and operation teams for fourteen and a half years. His experience covers manufacturing, education, government, and telecommunications industries. He is a published author of the book “Conscious Leadership In Action”.
Education and Certifications
Floyd holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MSMIS) from Bowie State University and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Floyd earned his coaching certification from CRR Global in Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC). He is licensed to deliver Relationship Systems Intelligence™ (RSI) workshops to tackle some of the most common ailments that plague work environments. He is also trained in the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) Co-Active Coaching model and Neuro Leadership Institute Brain-Based Coaching model. His professional affiliations include International Coach Federation (ICF), Association for Talent Development (ATD), HR Executive Forum and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Floyd is credentialed to perform individual and team assessments and tools including Herrmann International – Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) and Caliper Corporation Masters in Assessment and 360 reviews.
