Coaching and Consulting Experience
Charles brings more than 30 years experience in career development to the clients of Robert Gregory Partners. For 13 years, he was president and chief executive officer of INROADS, one of the nation’s largest career- and leadership-development organizations. He subsequently became president of an executive-development company and, since, has worked with many senior and high-achieving executives to help them reach their fullest potential – always, within the context of strategic organization objectives. Charles combines a solid background in career development with 35 years cumulative years as a corporate director with Briggs and Stratton and ChoicePoint. These varied experiences afford him a practical, business-specific view that sharpens his ability to coach executives with a firm eye on the corporation’s overarching goals.
Charles’ tenure and broad background in career development also has allowed him to work within an extensive variety of job positions, functional areas and industries. He has coached executives in the roles of division president, managing director, partner, controller, senior vice president, vice president, medical director, director and manager. He also has experience within many functional areas, including sales and business development, human resources, global supply chain, quality, corporate relations, hospitality, legal and insurance, in industries that include aerospace, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, public accounting, manufacturing, hospitality, construction and insurance.

Education
Charles holds a master’s in public administration from the University of Tennessee and Tennessee State University (joint program) and a bachelor’s in psychology and management from Fisk University. He earned his certification in executive coaching through the Behavioral Coaching Institute.
