Patrick’s highly anticipated book, Disrupt Everything, co-authored with the world’s bestselling author James Patterson, will be released on September 29, 2025. This groundbreaking book, based on The Disruption Project, a multi-year research initiative he led at Vanderbilt University, is poised to reach millions of leaders globally.

A masterful storyteller and sought-after speaker with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning military, corporate, and academic roles, Patrick currently serves as FranklinCovey’s Leadership and Culture Practice Leader. His longstanding relationship with FranklinCovey includes roles as a 4DX Regional Practice Leader, Senior Delivery Consultant, and Director of Strategic Partnerships.

In 2001, Patrick founded Wedgewood Consulting Group, which expanded to four states, achieved double-digit annual growth, and made the Inc. 5,000 list of fastest-growing businesses in the United States before its acquisition in 2012. He hosted the Leadership Lab Podcast, ranked in the top 1% globally, and now hosts FranklinCovey’s C-Suite Conversations Podcast, which features key insights from executive leaders globally.

A former Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University, Patrick taught Corporate Strategy, Negotiation, and Crisis Leadership for 11 years. An avid outdoorsman, he has summited several mountains, including Mount Kilimanjaro. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Jamie, and enjoys time with their grown children, their spouses, and one grandchild.
